Statement from Seneca Kansas Police Department about Cruise Night: With the upcoming fair week, Seneca Police Department would like to remind everyone to have fun and be safe during Cruise Night. It is our goal at the Seneca Police Department to keep everyone safe, but to also have fun and keep the cruise night tradition alive. Along with the community, we also like to see the variety of cars, but we want our citizens to feel safe while walking up and down the street enjoying the night. This year we will have a higher amount of law enforcement presence along main street, to include foot patrol officers along with motor patrol units. The officers will be ensuring the event does not get out of hand, that all vehicles are street legal, and all motorists continue to obey traffic laws. We hope to make everyone feel safe and to also be a part of the tradition and fun that cruise night brings to the town. -Chief Dylan Blevins
