We came out this way to participate in the Axtell, Kansas, 150th anniversary, and since there are no hotels in the town of Axtell, we decided to stay here at Altenhofen Inn & Suites, which is not even 15 minutes away. The hotel was quiet, clean, and charming. Upon entering the lobby, we found complimentary cookies for us, the guests, to enjoy. We had a relaxing swim in the indoor saltwater pool, and they also have a jacuzzi, although we couldn't figure out how to get it heated up. The little coffee maker in the room was so easy to use, and the decaf coffee was surprisingly good! We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit.
