The holiday season is hopping to a whole new level with the inaugural Holiday Hop, running December 13–20 across Seneca, Holton, and Atchison! This first-ever regional shop hop invites Kansans to celebrate community, discover small-town treasures, and support local businesses during the most wonderful time of the year.
Holiday shoppers can pick up a Holiday Hop passport at any participating business starting December 13. Visit 30 or more shops to be entered to win one of three Grand Prizes (each worth $50 or more), or visit 25 or more to be entered for one of three Runner-Up Prizes (valued at $25 or more). Passports must be completed and turned in at the final store visited by Saturday, December 20, and winners will be announced on December 29.
The Holiday Hop showcases more than 30 unique local businesses, offering everything from artisan gifts and apparel to vintage finds and holiday treats. Each town brings its own flavor. In Seneca, visitors will find historic charm and festive storefronts ready to help you find that perfect present. Holton offers cozy cafés, boutiques, and family-owned gems. Atchison rounds out the trio with warm welcomes and one-of-a-kind gifts from small shops with big holiday spirit.
