Live Music All Summer Long in Seneca!
This summer, Seneca’s downtown is the place to be! We're excited to announce the return of our Second Saturday Live Music Series, bringing the heart of Seneca to life with music, community, and summertime fun.
The fun kicks off Saturday, May 10 with Daniel Christian performing live at 5th & Main from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Grab a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy an evening of great tunes in the shade of downtown. It's the perfect way to celebrate warmer weather and good company!
June 14 brings an even bigger day of excitement. Not only will we host our annual Museum Fest during the day — featuring free admission to all five of Seneca’s museums and tons of family-friendly activities — but the music continues that evening with a concert by the Elliott Burns Band. Join us from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM back downtown at 5th & Main to keep the celebration going.
July and August will feature other performances and special events by other groups, including the Legion Rider's Annual Smokin' Hawgs BBQ & Bike Show in July, and the Northeast Kansas Arts Foundation's "Evolution of Music of the 1960s" show in August.
We will wrap up the summer with a big finale on Saturday, September 13. The Welcome Hunters will take the stage at 5th & Main from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and during the concert, we'll also be hosting a Pie Social! Enjoy a slice of homemade pie while you listen to live music — a sweet way to celebrate the end of a great summer season.
